Q. What is the summator/splitter and how is it used?
A. The summator/splitter will sum the output from two RTR®s and provide a totalized signal for Badger® AMR products.
Q. Why is it called a summator/splitter?
A. When used in conjunction with a splitter harness the totalized output can be used for a Badger AMR product and a second device such as a computer used for monitoring water consumption.
Q. I have a new Compound Series meter with two RTRs. I would like to monitor the high and low flow RTRs separately. Do I need a summator/splitter?
A. No, to monitor the high and low flow RTRs separately you would connect the output from each of the RTRs directly to two different AMR products.
Q. Can the summator be submerged?
A. Yes, the summator is completely sealed and is submersible.
