Turbo Series Meters
Q. Can the Turbo Series meter be installed in a vertical position?
A. The Turbo Series meter should only be mounted horizontally with the register in the upright position.
Q. Are plate strainers needed for the installation?
A. Strainers are highly recommended but not required where there is a minimum of 10 straight pipe diameters upstream of the meter to insure proper operation.
Q. If strainers are used how many diameters of straight pipe upstream are needed?
A. To ensure proper flow profiles it is recommended that a minimum of 5 straight pipe diameters after the strainer be installed.
