BadgerTouch is the answer for water utilities that want the best in walk-by meter reading while keeping their options open for future upgrades.
- Accuracy. BadgerTouch eliminates the transcription errors that can occur when meters are read visually.
- Efficiency. With BadgerTouch, a brief pause at each remote touchpad is all that’s needed to collect each read. No need to lift meter pit lids, or gain access to basements.
- Easy Installation. BadgerTouch modules come in two versions - remote-mount for outdoor wall-mounted applications, and pit-mount for meter pit lids. Pit-mount modules are available pre-wired to the ADE® register, so all electrical connections are fully protected against moisture intrusion.
- Compatibility. BadgerTouch can be read by a variety of reading devices in use today, making it compatible with existing touch-read systems.
- Upgradeability. BadgerTouch works with the ADE encoder register, and can be read with the Badger®-Radix® handheld data collector using Badger’s CONNECT route management software. Badger’s ORION® automatic meter reading system also uses these same elements, so a future upgrade is quick and easy.
