Utility Market
Badger Meter utility products serve both public and private water systems. As a leading manufacturer of metering and AMR systems, we offer a complete line of flow meters, including positive displacement, turbo, compound, fire service, electromagnetic (mag), and other meters commonly used in utility applications. In addition to flow measurement, our radio frequency mobile and network AMR technologies allow utility customers to receive timely and accurate information regarding meter reading and other valuable customer use data. In addition, Badger Meter is able to utilize many of these technologies to provide AMR connectivity to various gas meters and popular electric meter AMR systems.
Industrial Market
Badger Meter’s industrial products serve a wide variety of specialty markets, providing innovative flow measurement solutions in industries such as petroleum, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, concrete, and in chemical processing applications. Common products include Research Control and Series 9000 valves, industrial flow meters, and automotive, insertion, and electromagnetic flow meters.
Facilities
Badger Meter has major facilities located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Nogales, Mexico; Brno, Czech Republic; and Stuttgart, Germany. All Badger Meter locations operate in conjunction with ISO 9001 standards. Our Milwaukee location includes the corporate headquarters, a manufacturing facility for various flow measurement products, and our world-class technology center.
Our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility employs state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies for selected industrial products including precision valves and insertion flow meters. It is also the base for the marketing, sales, and engineering support activities for these products.
Other North American facilities include our new manufacturing plant in Nogales, Mexico where primary manufacturing activities include molding thermoplastic meter housings and registration production.
Our European facilities include our overseas headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany and electromagnetic flow meter manufacturing in Brno, Czech Republic.
