A. The OP meter is a positive displacement meter and can used in the chemical processing industry and the food processing industry. It is manufactured with either flanged ends or sanitary fittings.
Q. Are there any limitations on the positions in which the OP meter can be installed?
A. There are no limitations on installation positions. The OP can mounted vertically and rotated at any position in the piping.
Q. What are the requirements for the length of straight pipe upstream of the OP meter?
A. Since the OP meter is a positive displacement meter there are no straight pipe requirements. These requirements are for velocity meters.
