Dynasonics^® RS-900w flow meter for irrigation applications

By combining ultrasonic technology in a robust, cost-effective design, the Dynasonics^® RS-900w ultrasonic flow meter acts as an accurate, long-lasting static solution that is suitable for mixed-zone irrigation applications. The RS-900w meter measures the flow of water used in irrigation systems with full pipes, which makes it ideal for commercial turf irrigation, golf course irrigation and irrigation pump stations.

As a flow meter, the RS-900w meter is ideal for users requiring a high level of accuracy and cost efficiency. It is encased in a robust housing and has no moving parts, reducing maintenance to a minimum. Thanks to its single-piece threaded body, the RS-900w meter is quickly and easily installed. It is compatible with irrigation controllers and no straight-run distances are required during the installation, making it a perfect fit for the accurate flow measurement of irrigation applications.

The Dynasonics^® RS-900w meter features a two-wire pulse output/power, LED indicator lights and fully potted electronics (submersible IP68). It provides a forward flow accuracy of ±2% of reading. The flow meter is available in three sizes (1“, 1 ½“ and 2“) with NPT or BSPT threads and handling flow ranges of 0.95 to 189 l/min, 1.90 to 473 l/min and 3.79 to 757 l/min with a pressure rate of up to 14 bar.
