Dynasonics^® DXN Portable transit-time/Doppler flow and energy meter

Company REICO, our local distributor in Vietnam, installed a DXN ultrasonic flow meter on a pipeline to help their customer in locating a leak in the 15 km long pipe. Next to a bridge, the pipeline was running parallel to another pipe. Both pipes were in very bad condition and the opening of the by-pass valve was causing extreme pressure drop. The meter was able to achieve signal strength and the actual flow rate remained very accurate at this site location when compared to other control flow measurements along the pipe. In this application, the DXN meter helped to find out the problem within the customers piping system.
