Industrial Oval Gear Flow Meters

A Swedish manufacturer of sauces, gravy’s and other ingredients needed to ensure constant quality of the products they produce, required a high precision metering system for their dosing unit. An important requirement was that the meter had to conform to the 1935/2004/EC European Directive for material in contact with food.

The meter needed to measure very exactly the different viscous fluids that are used to manufacture sauces, gravy’s and ingredients for other products.
Our Swedish distributor Sikama offered six half inch size stainless steel industrial oval gear meters compliant with FDA/EN food; the meters were supplied in conjunction with the ILR 740 display and benefit from sanitary fittings. The meters are being used in combination with the existing dosing system, are accurately metering and dosing all ingredients and the customer is very satisfied with the results.
