Accurate, Non-Contact Level Monitoring

Engineered for above-flow installation, the Ultrasonic Sensor measures the distance from the manhole cover or vault lid to the water surface. This non-intrusive approach minimizes maintenance and is well suited for locations where water levels stay within a typical range.

Seamless data access and remote insights are delivered through web and mobile platforms.

Features

  • Precise Readings. Accurate, non-contact level measurements are delivered under normal and moderately variable flow conditions.
  • Reliable Monitoring. A simple, reliable option for sites that don’t require pressure-based submersion detection.
  • Quick Installation. Easy installation options for mounting within manholes, vaults or open structures—no confined space entry required.
  • Data Accessibility. Alerts and historical trend analysis are delivered in real time with mobile accessibility.
  • Low Maintenance. With no contact with the flow, the sensor offers long-term operation with minimal service needs.

Market Applications

  • Collection System Monitoring

Collection system monitoring plays a vital role in the water cycle, overseeing the movement of wastewater from its source through collection networks for treatment and disposal. Extreme weather events, fats, oils, and grease (FOG) blockages, and increased inflow and infiltration (I&I) can result in sewer spills or overflow events—endangering our environment and communities, costing utilities millions in cleanup costs. By monitoring these systems in near real-time, utilities can promptly identify and address issues for efficient operation and prevent environmental contamination.
