Badger Meter subject matter experts in flow monitoring, water quality and pressure management will be available in booth 02.202 at Aquatech Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade exhibition for process water, drinking water and wastewater, 6-9 November 2023. The company’s international strategy leverages the brand equity of well-known innovations from s::can, ATi and Syrinix to bring smart water to a global customer base.
Our Sustainability Report focuses on four strategic pillars that help define and guide how we integrate tenets of environmental, social and governance (ESG) into our business strategies and practices. We focus our ESG efforts on the most material and impactful areas, including water conservation, employee safety, engagement and inclusion and robust risk management practices.
When smart water systems are in place, you can better understand system performance and take action to capture revenue, reduce costs, mitigate risk, improve customer satisfaction, optimize assets and enhance sustainability.

Many water utilities face the same problem: how to monitor water quality within the water distribution system with no reagents and no waste streams.
pipe::scan, a modular sensor system, is now available for utilities everywhere. The NSF/ANSI/CAN 61- and 372-certified system monitors drinking water quality in pipes under pressure.
pipe::scan can measure up to 10 parameters in one device, including organics (TOC, DOC, UV254), turbidity, color, pH, conductivity, temperature and pressure. The water quality data can be sent to BEACON® SaaS or central databases via most protocols.
Despite the growing adoption of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) among water utilities, misconceptions about the technology, its cost and its effectiveness persist. Here are a few of the most common objections to AMI and the reasons why they don't hold water.
Whether you’re capturing a flow measurement baseline for your university’s energy audit or installing permanently on your HVAC system to optimize performance, ultrasonic clamp-on meters offer many leading benefits that make them preferable to insertion electromagnetic meters.
