Continuous Residual Thiosulfate Monitoring

Residual thiosulfate (S₂O₃²⁻) plays a critical role across multiple industries. In potable water and wastewater treatment, it helps ensure proper sterilization and regulatory compliance. In refinery operations, excessive thiosulfate is linked to equipment corrosion and potential piping failures. Textile facilities use it to control bleaching for consistent process efficiency and product quality, while agricultural and fertilizer production depend on accurate thiosulfate monitoring to optimize formulations and field applications.

The Q46/86 is engineered for these demanding environments. It provides the direct, continuous measurement needed to maintain water quality, prevent corrosion and keep processes running efficiently. Its polarographic membrane sensor measures S₂O₃²⁻ directly as water flows through a constant-head flow cell without altering the sample or requiring chemical addition.
