Oxygen

Oxygen (O) is a non-metal element that is a colorless, odorless reactive gas at room temperature.

Oxygen
Oxygen is a non-metal element and is found naturally as a molecule. It has low melting and boiling points, therefore at room temperature is in a gas state. Oxygen is vital for life and respiration and also has an industrial use for distillation of liquified air. It is used in medical settings for respiratory therapy, incubators and inhaled anesthetics. Oxygen is part of all gas mixtures for spacecraft, scuba divers, workers in enclosed environments or hyperbaric chambers.

Monitoring Oxygen in the ambient air can be challenging but crucial to ensure a safe environment in the work place. Too much Oxygen can present dangers to employees and equipment in the area. The only way to detect low Oxygen concentrations is with real-time monitoring from accurate and reliable sensors. Utilizing our unique smart sensor technology, our gas detectors can go from Phosgene monitoring to Oxygen measurement in less than a minute, monitoring the presence of gases in a specified area and sound an alarm if they reach dangerous levels.
