Peracetic acid (PAA) is a powerful and highly corrosive oxidizer, widely used for its ability to sanitize surfaces and objects.
Monitoring background levels of PAA in the workplace is not easy, but we are one of only two gas sensor manufacturers in the world that can make accurate, specialist sensors that can be used to protect staff. PAA is released into the air during sterile processing, but as a high strength oxidant it is dangerous to all living cells, potentially causing permanent damage to skin, eyes and organs. Continuous, accurate and reliable monitoring is essential as part of your Quality Controls Program.
Utilizing our unique smart sensor technology, our gas detectors can go from Peracetic Acid monitoring to Oxygen measurement in less than a minute, sounding an alarm if they reach dangerous levels. Each of our fixed or portable detectors can be packaged as stand-alone units or multipoint systems.
